Old oaktree in sunset

Walking the dog in a wood, we approached this old oak while the deep sun came through the clouds making the top branches of the oask glow. By accident I shot this at f8, making my cam use ISO10k, which of course resulted in a grainy, but still usable image.

One of the draawbacks of auto ISO, I guess, but the noise doesn't show at this scale and the light is quite delightful.

you are perfectly right, Canonshots, but who wants to limit it right away to correct the upper limit if needed, which may happen quickly. Perhaps using P instead of Av might have helped here. Bad habit of mine to still work the same way as with my old film camera back in the 70's ... .
