Ditto, great sulky expression. Border collies are wonderful dogs, we had two when I was growing up and they were both fantastic companions for a nature boy like me. Christ I'm welling up!!

Gorgeous shot, Kathy. What a face!! Beautifully captured.

Oh dear this is the exact expression my dog has as his master has just gone to the farm without him. He's on 2 weeks strict rest (not easy if you're a sheepdog eh?)after his op. He'd torn his cruciate ligament in his knee and is feeling very sorry for himself.

Thank you all so much for the clicks and lovely comments - makes it worth getting flat on my face in damp grass for!
Jet was actually being made to stay while his sister was allowed to run free. He was not impressed, but he's a good dog and stayed perfectly flat and still - apart from the eyes!

Magda - thrilled to get another award! Thanks!

Mari - I do hope your dog will manage to contain himself for a few weeks. Not funny having a working sheepdog on restricted exercise... They don't like going for short walks on leads, do they?

Thanx again and Woof from Jet.
