Modern Times

By KathyW
Isn't it great these days... Have to lock the dogs up lest someone dognaps them. Not allowed to let them loose in the yard as there's a footpath going through it and they might intimidate a rambler... As if they would dream of such a thing!
Thanks for looking at something a bit different from me!
Kathy

Sad times indeed. I used to tie my boys up in front of Asda (The store is only about 500yrds away and is my "corner shop" - everybody got to know the boys)... but I dare not now because of dognapping... there has been a spate in the recent past up here and I just would not take the risk now..

He looks awfully fed up by the way : (

Aah its a mad world, Kathy and its awful that you have to lock a working dog up like this when I know they would rather roam free, not exactly fair is it? Good strong image, well done for posting

He looks really fed up, you should be safe on your own land and able to roam free.

Thanks everyone for your comments on this.
Actually the dogs don't mind being in the kennel really! They get lots of walks and evening cuddles on the couch. It's just rather alarming when you hear that 7 dogs have been stolen from the area in the last few weeks...
Thanks for looking,

Very topical in a round about way for me at the moment Kathy. Investigating a crate for my new, insomniac, black lab puppy. Never cagged my dogs before and I have mixed feelings about it. But anything to get a night's sleep!
