barking up the wrong tree

By katster
taken in the woods earlier today. Wanted to find bluebells, but didn't so tried my hand at more abstract woodland images. I've never dabbled in this kind of thing before...so please be honest, am I barking up the wrong tree here? I think it perhaps a bit of a dull shot, but would be interested to hear your comments/suggestions! Many thanks. Katty

More inventive and imho more interesting than bluebells! Strong and varied lines, well juxtaposed using the longish focal length, excellent texture. Would easily have stood up to a darker tone / starker conversion to mono. Nice work.

Without the diagonal i dont think it would have worked I agree about the darker mono. I really like this abstract Smile
