  • Autumn Light in Zion

Thanks Willie. I do like your mod. So watch this space. Incidentally re dropping a figure in you probably missed my own mod where I had added a bird but I am none too sure about it.

  • Exploring Talisker Bay

Thanks for your comments Niknut and Senn. I added an alternative but thought it hadn't gone through so did it again and now I don't know how to delete one of them. It occurred to me that maybe it might look better with the sky chopped off. I added a wee bit of extra sea to compensate. Would be interested to know which you guys prefer.

  • Letting Go

Have done an alternative. After I named it Letting Go I figured there should be more of a gap and then I adjusted the shadow.

  • Walk in the country with the meadow and the petrified wood.

Love the dead trees. Hope they stay forever. Nice shot!

  • The Jacobite Crosses Glenfinnan Viaduct

We were there in June and went on the train. It looks better from where you shot it than from the window of the train. Everyone else had their heads out the window going over the Viaduct!! I prefer Version 2 also.

  • Wet Night in Edinburgh

Thanks Team and ugly. Very constructive comments. Have been busy working on them but have to go out. Hope to post update later. Impossible mrswoolybill to get the drip coming over the dark coat when in multiply. Have tried all sorts of blending modes and find vivid light works best but by no means perfect. Thanks all. Pablophotographer I don't think my husband is getting worried yet!

  • Back street boy

What is that white thing above the handsome dirty old man's hand. Is it a witch's head? Whatever it is it's a great image Hilary!

  • Ooops

So bright and bold. Looks like you have surprised her!!! Not sure about the position of the hot dog sign. Personally I don't mind it being cut off at the top but it would be a good excuse for a judge to make a criticism if he/she couldn't find anything else wrong with it.

  • Lonely

My first thought was "shame about the colour of the bag" but it is growing on me. In any case it could have proved embarassing for you to pick the bag up and replace it with another!

  • Waiting for their turn

Wow this one is popular. I think this is perfect. Only goes to show you don't need an expensive camera. Of course with the time lag I guess it was also down to luck.
