Hiding from the sun

By Kaxxie
Happy Saturday Shadows everyone

I was sitting under the tree in my garden last week keeping out of the sun when I looked up. I just HAD to get my camera! Iím so pleased Iíve got the rays round the sun...result. I have never managed that before.

Thank you all for your votes and comments on yesterdayís poppies and to Rich for your valued UA. I really appreciate you all.

Take care

Karen

You definitely caught the rays. I think as photograpers we see things that other people just ignore. The rays through the trees are always special/

Well caught, the starburst effect. You can buy filters that give you this effect, in fact they normally tell you the amount of rays they produce, and you can buy in different amounts. You can produce them in your camera if you use small apertures, f11 or f16 are best.
