It's good, but it's a shame that their feet are chopped off... that's what dancing's all about after all.

Very sorry but I don't think this works as a 'dance' photo.. as VickyH says the fete are choped off. Also the background, although blurred, remains distracting.

this photo was basically a grab shot, I was back about 3 deep in the crowd and only managed the shot when the crowd parted, so it makes me happy that I got anything at all.

Not worried about the background, this part of the atmosphere. Like Vicky says pity about the feet. The dancers are looking downwards (although not necessarily at their feet). It takes the viewer's eye down and the feet would have provided an endpoint for the eye before returning upwards again.
I understand your problem with the crowd.It is not easy!
I enjoyed the picture. Thank you for showing it.

It's a great dance shot, it has style, elegance and togetherness. Dance isn't all about the feet. The background suggests how natural and important the dancing is to people, whether watching or performing.

Great candid capture - not too worried about the feet as my attention is on their faces and their total absorption in what they are doing. Busy BG but sets the busy scene.
