Common Darter

Hi all, this image was taken in France and is very very similar to my last Dragonfly upload. I had great difficulty in deciding which one was the best so would appreciate any constructive comments. I like the glisten from the sun on the wings of the last one but I think I prefer the square format on this and I'm not sure if it's a bit sharper.

I like the glisten too. Great background. Should have loads more attention this.

Another great shot. This one doesn't have the stick to the rear of the dragon like your other shot and it does look to have more detail in the body and tail. I think this is the better of the two shots.

Nice image, especially the sun on the wings as you have said. Good use of depth of field to emphasise the subject.

Vry glad to give it the 30th click! The detail is superb, and I think I like this comp the better of the two you mentioned. It is very nicely set off.

Good lighting, nice pose and attitude but would like to see it in larger version. Eyes look a little blurred on the smaller one but other than that lovely.

Great shot of a very tricky subject - I mange OK with Damselflys and hope to get some of these this summer.

This is the best of the three that you have on.
