Hopper

Hi all, out looking for butterflies when I saw this little fellow jumping around happily in the long grass. Still trying to get to grips with macro and thinking of buying the Sigma 105mm macro. Not sure whether it would be worth it as I have a Canon EFs 60mm but I seem to get too close and frighten the subject away. Any tips please?

Yes, lot's of variation in colours. Just wondering if they camouflage themselves as they seem to blend into the BG even on sandstone rocks.
