Fight for survival

Took this shot in Monaco. The two birds were fighting over food but then it got nasty. One of the birds appeared to be either suffocating the other or trying to break its' beak. Either way, after a quick shot we dispersed them in opposite directions with a happy ending.

You really captured the tension. The last gull pic i posted also had a gull that wasn't going to share its dinner.
