This works well for those lighting conditions in my opinion. Composition's great - over the stile .. down the path .. following it out of the picture and exploring the rest of it .. wonderful. Is this recent? I'm surprised there's so much foliage for a frosty morning - but then you are further south than me!

It seems to have been very late in 2001.
I was there on 31st December, but this was probably taken earlier in December or November.
It was not long after my father died, and coming up to the new year. Aside from the visual thrill, there were several levels of significance about the steps leading into the light and the new day.
It was a very hard frost, and the sun did break over the hill and the tall trees until about 1030.
