Life, you know, everythings going well, then the rain starts, you get to the broken fence, the slippery planks, and here's this steep climb ahead with no handrail. Its character forming!
taken on a rainy afternoon stroll, because the scene was intrigueing, the 'Life' thing only struck me later.

Nice picture, well composed. I remember when I could ride my bike around the path on the left of that bank, the river washed the path away about 7 years ago. Those wooden steps look a bit nasty in the wet...
Very rustic! Love the picture in black and white, it makes the title seem much more appropriate!

And I love the steps in the corner, falling apart!
