Wonderful, detailed shot.

Amazingly, you have managed to capture a real 'mood' of the flower. Almost as if it is bearing down on its prey, so to speak, out of shot. Nice shot. click

A great composition, wonderful colour in the petals the light levels are spot on to show the 'hairs' excellent.

Just to nit-pick a little, there is a black border down the left hand edge of the shot, easily cropped out though.

The Romans did this ? And Kate says, good in Pims. The things you learn here!

Adrian is quite right, well spotted, thank you, nit pick all you like, I could have stared at that all day and not seen it.

Triffids ? It reminded me of a musical where a huge plant is yelling/singing 'FEED MEE FEED ME'. It is really just a a little scrawly plant with pretty blue flowers, until you get up close and personal, and then you see this!

Thanks everyone for all these kind remarks.

Good lighting to bring out the hairs, it is a bit 'Little Shop of HOrrors'. You'll have to call it Audrey III now.

Yes Audrey, 'little shop of horrors' it was, knew it rang a bell somewhere. This Borage thing is nicer than Audrey 2 though.
Now, must get some Pims.

Amazing colour, composition. I've never seen borage look this good Smile
Would a purple frame set the flower off even better? Not sure.

Thanks. I've not tried frames at all, probably is time to experiment.

What a great specimen. Love the "pose" (can you say that about plants?) and the lighting!

Have an RC - it deserves it.
