Hi All,
Thanks for all the comments, HeatherR, I can see what you mean about maybe seeing more of the fence, unfortunately the 'official' event photographer was sitting just yards to the right of me and I was trying to keep him out of the shot at the same time as trying to include he castle in the background, then with the prime lens attached, I would have had to move back quite a long way to get the fence in, which I think would have detracted from the main subject. I am no pro, and may be talking rubbish. I did notice the official tog had a large zoom lens attached, maybe for that reason! Thanks again anyway.
