Mumbles Head at Half Tide

These are the rocks that gave the area its name one story for the origin of the name that they resemble a pair of boobs & the name is a corruption of the old word for them. In the foreground is the remains of an old causeway used to supply the lighthouse & Fort. The fort is long disused & the lighthouse is now unmanned. Some repairs are in progress & the lighthouse is scaffolded.
