Had a it more time to study this & would like to add to com'. This works so well because of the black base stability, the lines take us out to the corners but because they end up soft the eye is drawn back to the centre of interest. The NH folk would moan it's not sharp but the fact that you've named it "Fragile", rather than some Latin name tells us that it is pictorial/abstract, so they can go &..... Pleasant image, well done, Si.

Looks a bit like one of those Tesla lamps with the radial spray of lines, except these are straight. Having said that, this is the most detailed macro of a dandelion I've ever seen; never knew there were the wee hooks on the stems of the seeds but I image that's how they adhere so well to what ever they land on. They are certainly all-conquering in my garden...
