Heavens Gone

By kel55
another early start on the north east coast , had been a very grey morning and had given up and was back in the car when the sun made an appearance , couple of oil tankers to the left of shot give a bit of scale to the scene , shot this through open window of car , might struggle to get to coast a bit through the week as my car has died this weekend Sad cheers for taking a look , Kel

You were most certainly in the right place at the right time, Kel!
This is a superb image - the composition, the sun poking through and those oil tankers - wonderful!Smile
Hope the car is sorted soon!

Very dramatic and atmospheric Kel, with lovely colour and some nice reflection on the water. The dark patch of cloud in front of the light looks slightly unnatural as in my experience they tend to become increasingly pale and translucent. Maybe it was really like that rather than a processing effect? Sorry to hear about your car, no doubt you'll tell me all about it but I'd recommend getting a decent mechanic to take a look at it Wink
