Purple Haze

By kel55
Hi all hope everybody has enjoyed the sun this weekend , out in the garden today trying to get a shot of a flower . Many shots taken but nothing seemed to work in the normal sense of a flower image , opted for this macro shot with a very shallow dof , bit of an easy way out but there you go . Thanks for taking a look any comments always welcome.

No easy way out here, Kel - you've got focus and an excellent depth of field and so much to take in with this image!
A natural abstract, I'd say!Smile
It's been a fabulous weekend - that sunshine makes it so much easier to take photos!Smile
Best wishes,
Richard

It might feel like the easy way out for you young man but many people would give their right arm to get a shot as wonderful as this one! Gorgeous colour & soft focus in all the right places. I've got that song in my head now thanks!Wink

I really like the look of this, looks almost like a pastel drawing & not a photograph Smile

Good abstact. Anyone can see a flower as a flower, but not all can see it as a pice of art. Si.

Good colours and the shallow dof give this real 3D effect.
