St Mary,s Lighthouse

By kel55
last few rays of light on the north east coast changed what had been a dull day into a dramatic sky i think , another attempt with lightroom , might have over processed , but happy quite with the shot . thanks for taking a look ,Kel

That sky is superb, packed with colour and interest and doesn't look over worked at all, it's stunning. The lighthouse is a great FP but is almost jarringly sharp compared to the rest and probably needs a bit more FG sea to place it in context and slightly distract. There appears to be a halo above the rooflines on the left and I wonder if you have selected and brightened the buildings rather than used an ND grad to balance (and then just had to brighten the tower)? Or it may just be a visual illusion or my aging eyes! Grin Your new 24-70 looks like it's helping you create great images and I'm excited to see what else your coastal escapes will produce given the high quality here!
