When post processing my photos I always listen to music in order to capture the soul/essence of my shot.
Tecnically, this shot will fail BIG TIME.
What matters to me, however, is the combination of essence of the shot, the inspirational music and the motive.
(Inspired by Ola Gjeilo's piece "Serenity")

How can an image fail when it reaches the photographer in a way that is meaningful to them. I think we risk stifling our creative capacity the moment we prioritise the opinions of others above our own self evaluation. The trick perhaps is more in deciding what work to share and what to hold back for our own pleasure.
What a great comment Sherlob! Your point made me think. I like that Smile

Adam got in before me with the whole "who cares about technicalities when it's about emotions" stuff, but I think he said it in a far better way than I would have done! So for me, this one ticks the creative box because I have to look harder to see what it's about Smile
Thanks Tanya Smile
Both your's and Adam's comment have made me think about audience and what to share and when. I think this shot will be very suited for a print out and a good framing instead of just an on-line showing.
I made the comment about technique because I, for some reason, needed to emphasize that I was aware of the techniqe. But you are absolutely right. The shot stands out much better when the photographer is true to the product with no "but's".
Thanks to you both for making me think about that Smile
