The Way we Were

By KelterPhotography
Went to the Hebridies this summer to photograph landscapes "with a heart".
I call myself an Essence Photographer as I aim to capture a story more than a picture.
For me, the light at the Hebridies invites to post-process with a nostalgic touch. The skies, the wind, the sun and even the rain. All these are elements that make me feel something.
When I post-process I always work while listening to music in order to emphazise the feeling that I am aim to "drag" out of my shot. I need to FEEL the story in the shot before the shot is complete. If I don't feel anything when working on my photos - how should my audience be able to feel anything? And if the viewer do not feel something - the photo, in my opinion, dosen't matter.

I love your philosophy, Anne-Mette! And this image is a corker, too Smile
