This is an extraordinary image. You feel as if you could almost walk into the scene, such is the excellence of the definition and perspective. I love the beautiful contrast between the smooth, glossy foreground, and the jagged, rustic appearance of the rockface. The misty look of the sky completes the composition perfectly. This really is stunning photography. Thank you for sharing. Smile

Excellent depth of field, and superb clarity of detail. Good timing to get this capture. The blurred background works really well in enhancing the image. A quality shot.

  • Drummer girl by Grampy

I love this shot. It combines my two loves. Wink There's a touch of humour in the picture too. It's also an imaginative shot, with a great feeling of movement and freedom.

The model is very beautiful, and I like the pose. It adds to that sense of motion and energy. The girl seems to be surrounded by a shadow or reflection, which adds a touch of the surreal. Furthermore, it suggests that she is flying through the air - thus adding to the feeling of movement.

This is eye-catching and creative artwork. Well captured.

    Take care,
    Ken

    Hello Victor,

    How are you my friend?

Sorry I haven't been in touch. Things are still very difficult. To try and cheer myself up, I bought a new camera - a NIKON D40. I still have to learn how to work it, but hopefully it'll encourage me to get back into photography.

Best wishes to you and the family,
    Ken

Hello ollie. You honour me with your generous comments. You are a very skilled photographer. Your shots are simply so stylish and evocative. I love how you are so adept at capturing so much atmosphere in all your images. You should pursue this area of work. I already thought you were a Professional photographer; such is the quality of your work.

I notice you have a love for Single Malts. I don't drink anymore, but used to love them. "Highland Park 25 year old", "Lagavulin 43% 16 year old", "Bunnahabhain 12 year old", and the wonderful "Bruichladdich 10 year old". I loved them all. The more peaty, the better!

I wish you good health and happiness for the future. I am sure you will go far.

    Best wishes,

    Ken

Hi. Interesting and varied portfolio. I must have a good look soon.

I saw your name on the "forums" asking about computers. I avoid entering forums so I hope you don't mind this message. Regarding computers - I'd say get one custom built. A friend built mine for me. He only wanted money for the parts and I got a super machine! Saved a couple of grand too.

I'll have a good look through your Art now.

    Best wishes,

    Ken
