The first piece of Artwork I've done since my mother died. It reflects my state of mind at the moment.

Ken,
I'm sorry for your loss. I do believe that at times like these our art (as well as our faith) can help us through the tougher times. Thanks for sharing your feelings with us through your art.
Best, Bill

Thank you Bill for your kind comment and understanding. As an Atheist, I try to hope that somehow I will survive this tragedy. Expressing my feelings through Art is especially important for me in the healing process.

Thank you too Julie for offering your words of comfort. I also appreciate your comment on this image. It was a difficult piece to create, but I think it captures some feelings.

Best wishes to you both.

Ken, you know my thoughts are with you always. Like me your art says more than words can ever say. For what its worth the photo looks very positive as if time keeps flowing, she would be so proud.
Keep it together.

ken good to see you are back using your art to express your feelings in this way can only be positive & i expect cathartic. this is without doubt a marvelous piece of art very expressive & like victor says has a very positive nuance that is it is bursting with life perhaps a metaphor for your mother & for you. while we breath we have hope. keep em coming man!
