Very dramatic, Alun, LOTResque. The snow dusting gives some lovely sculpting to the land.

Spectacular plus outstanding timing. Instead of hiding the road as so many do you've used it as a lead in then the setting sun makes a great FP in the distance. I always feel a bit of snow helps sculpt the hill and that sky just adds even more drama!

A fantastic and very emotive image from the Glen of Tears. Photographed by millions over the years and I thing this is very close to the best shot i personally have ever seen.

My WeeTree is on the way, my friend.

Wow! That is encouraging. I uploaded a different frame from the same viewpoint with different pp to see if you consider it an improvement. I'm so chuffed to receive all votes and comments and in particular at receiving UA's from Ant, Al, Mark, Paul, Richard and Dougie. Feels like Christmas, guys. Many thanks. This was one of two images I had pre-conceived and nature was kind to me as were the good folk at the visitor centre who consulted my Harvey map, discussed the level of challenge for a reasonably fit lone walker and gave me great insights on place names etc. I loved it and was in my element.

Alun, I have walked and climbed many places in Glencoe but this has to be one of my favourite places. Fanatic image, captured at the perfect time of the day with the sun setting at the pass of Glencoe, very well done my friend. Glad you enjoyed your time in Scotland, look forward to more of your images. Bill.

The quality of light and exposure is superb. Either image is the sort of shot any landscape photographer dreams of capturing and its impossible to separate them in terms of technical quality so I wont attempt to.
Hope you have a big chest because here is another medal.

Blimey, Geoff, you too! Thanks a lot. V2 is my fave but I could process this time and again and it would look different each time. The wife said. 'Bet it didn't look like that' so I had the pleasure of showing her the RAW file to prove her wrong :0)
