Fortunately, I keep copies of all my comments Ken; therefore, I feel my previous comment still has relevance.
Though subtle, the technical changes are noticeable – especially in the larger version where the sunlight on the dead branches does make a huge difference to the overall feel of this superb shot. The smooth texture of the wood also makes a much stronger impact than before. This revised version certainly displays far more detail.

Throughout your tremendous portfolio, I have seen a multitude of surreal and staggeringly inventive images, but this one certainly must be placed near the top. Even as a “thumbnail” image, this looked extraordinary and I had to comment immediately on this amazing shot.
It is difficult to find the words to describe this object – such is the unworldly atmosphere it conveys. This is definitely an “abstract image”, because it is so indefinable and even the perspective keeps shifting – making the image appear “different” with each viewing.
From one of those “perspectives”, it looks very much like a sc-fi spacecraft flying over a cloud base. I presume it is actually branches from a tree in the water – yet, the water looks so much like clouds.
Your eye for capturing images with so much originality and “vision” is an astounding accomplishment. This is one of the strangest shots I have ever seen, and certainly the most outstanding.
