Snow White

By kenraw
Another portrait of my sister, went for a bit more of a high key shot with this one. The sharpness on her eye is unreal at f.28 with this lens. Camera specs 7D f.28 1/200sec iso 200, hope you like it.

Great portrait, I ike the whole "white" feel with her hat and top, plus the way she is looking upwards.

Utterly beautiful....good camera the 7D isn't it? Wink lol! Love mine, have to get more lenses for it. But this looks a good bet if you can get that kind of sharpness on it. Superb. What a beautiful sister you have too. I love this image. Soft, delicate, beautifully lit....just gorgeous. Lovely image!

Thanks for your comment, just a point regarding this lens, it has a known problem for sucking in dust through the front element so a good quality clear filter is a must, also the IS is the old type and can sometimes cause a bit of vibration blur. however when it hits focus at f2.8 its stunning. hopefully a new version will come out, other than that an L series lens would be a the best choice.

Hmmmm....cheers for the info! Appreciated. I already have the 24-105 L lens, but its only to f4. I might look into getting a f2.8 lens, but really want to save the pennies for the 70-200mm......thats a baby! Cheers though! Food for thought.....
