thanks for your comments ketch, ive only just got into all this, but this bridge is not easy to photo as is restricted area access, what lens would you reccommend for landscapes, some say 10-20mm.?, at the moment im focusing on landscapes/birds, but I see by your gallery you have a great eye for an image so who knows Im just enjoying the ride, it helps fill in the gap from designing and carving gravestones!

Hi Ketch, stokest here yhanks for your comments, this was hand held and was just record to show my wife what this place looked like, its the same scene as yesterday winter reflections so ill be again, that was my first entry in camera culb comp. and got 16/20, your gallery looks as if you have a very varied eye for a picture, ive only started but I carved gravestones for 44 years and I cant get stonework of some discrition out my head and I also am trying birds, but who knows, many thanks for taking the trouble to comment I appreciate any help, ronnie

Hi Robert!

Thanks for your comment and a helpful advise. I'm delighted by your works, especially the "marine theme". Keep going the same professional and talented way!

Thanks for your kind comment. Love your work especially the dogs. I have just about given up on this site..as you said, I despair, despite reaching out extensively My pictures receive very little if no attention. I guess they just don't make the grade.

Stunning images. I love the drama and simplicity (not simple to capture though) of the lighthouse especially. Thanks for your comments on the glass, my next upload will be improved. London Lights is beautifully shot too - but then all your pics are.
Absoulutely Stunning Images Great PF well done

Thank you for your lovely comments on my 'tulip'. I know what you mean about the cliche! I just wanted to isolate it from the mess that is my border and the sky was a beautiful blue. To be honest, I didn't think it would be very good as I held it up with one hand. Obviously the wobble of the flower and the wobble of the camera in the other hand cancelled each other out!
Fantastic portfolio you have here. Landscapes I can only dream about!
Thank you for your kind and constructive comment on my first upload!

An enjoyable PF. Varied and interesting.
Just to let you know, Swan Lake was taken Sunday 11th Jaunary early morning from the Decoy Hide - just got lucky!

Thanks for your encouragement and great gallery! Very inspiring.

Your PF is really great. I don't like them all but the majority are great. You seeom to "see" the world in much same way as I do. The only difference is you can commit that vision to pixels and I still struggle. Very nice and you're on my favourite list now.
hi thanks for the comment on notre dame yes your right frame is a bit much!cheers
