Trafalgar Day

By keving
Today (21st October) is Trafalgar Day when we remember the victory of Nelson's fleet over the combined forces of France & Spain.

This plinth supports a statue of Admiral Lord Nelson which is located in Old Portsmouth overlooking the Solent close to where Nelson took his last steps on English soil.

In the background can be seen the top of the Spinnaker Tower which is celebrating its 5th birthday this week.
