I've noticed you took this at the same time as your last 'shell' image, but with slightly different timing (this is 1/500's rather than the 1/800's with your last one). The difference is quite noticeable and you have a better, more detailed image here!
(The lack of date stamp is an improvement too!).
Be very careful when taking photos into the sun, it can not only damage your camera but, more importantly, your eyes - I can see these were taken in the evening so the sun would be weaker.

Well done Kieran, you have some nice detail in those waves, your horizon is just a little wonky though and yes, good advice from Karen about shooting straight into the sun.
It's not necessarily about the kind of camera you have, it's about how you use it.
