Big Red One

By Kim Walton
Not my usual, and limited by the lens.
Although classed as a macro lens ,my macro starts at about a foot away.
Never taken any indoor shots before so any advice welcome---i know i need another lens, but that will have to wait for a bit.
Thanks
Kim
P.S I`ve addded a Mod with white border as suggested.

Fantastic strong red colour. I like it and it looks real nice. I would change the red frame colour to white though.

Good contrast with the background and the colour of the flower. I think this is excellent. I'm hoping to try some indoor pics this week and I hope mine turn out so well!

beautifully exposed and taken - I think a tad off the top might improve the impact of the comp.

I like both the red border and the white border. Personally I would leave out the text in both cases but that's just my personal preferance.

Strange, borders, frames, every one has their own ideas.I know its down to presentation, whats fashionable, what the tutor told us,etc, but at the end of the day it`s the image that`s inside the border that should count.
