Kim I have been trying and trying to do this all summer - the kids are dizzy :o)
I wanted to get them in b&w, both laughing with the background really blurred as they went round - exactly as you have done.
It's a great shot, congratulations on the award - can you give me any tips?

Thanks for comment,the shot was taken at F22 @1/20 sec.Same settings were used for various roundabout speeds and this was the fastest it would go around---thank goodness,
any faster and i`d of been sick

Excellent use of shutter speed to ensure sharp person and blurred background. I would like it to be a touch lighter in the bottom half but it doesn't detract enough to spoil the shot.

Good technique Kim this is excellent, would like to have seen the settings of shutter etc, well done, Adrian (once you pass a certain age avoid roundabouts they do awful things to you!)
