Back to Seville and the Plaza de Espaņa for this shot of a young flautist getting ready to play his next piece to whoever might be prepared to listen - and he would not be short of willing ears: he really was very good. Ideally, I'd like to have got one of him actually playing without any visual distractions, but it soon became evident that the periodic flow of tourists up and down the stairs would make this difficult. So, I just waited for a gap in the traffic and took whatever I could get, mindful of She-Who-Must-Be-Obeyed in the corner of my eye, wearing one of those expressions ........Smile

Less is more. With the back story it is quite effective, Bob.

Like it very much, Bob. The eye is really led up to the player, and there is great symmetry in the composition. And yes, most outings seem to be a matter of negotiation when it comes to photography. It helps, of course, if there's a distraction such as a curtain shop nearby...
Cheers, Allan
