Jackson Square

By KingBee
Been away for a while (with my Plus 2 membership expiring in my absence, happily now reinstated), touring New England in the Fall - and what a show of colour we had: the best autumn foliage in years, apparently.

Anyway, as is the norm, part of the time was spent in Boston and so we took the opportunity to visit a Scottish pub in Jamaica Plain, a 'streetcar suburb' of the city with a large Hispanic population. The nearest "T" (metro) station to the pub is Jackson Square, and as we alighted from the train this scene was the first thing that caught my eye.

Interestingly, a couple of weeks after our visit, the same T station was in the local (Boston) news recently which reported on a bunch of school kids - that's right: kids - threatening and robbing people as they came in and out of the station.

Superb image, Bob, with excellent use of light and shadow. Speaking of shadows, what a chilling commentary about the juveniles, thank goodness you avoided it.

Glad you enjoyed your New England trip. The foliage was outstanding this year.
Speaking of the violence.....we have seen a noticeable uptick in violent behavior since tRump has been in office. Disgusting!
