I'm inclined to agree, Bob, about selective colouring. It worked brilliantly in Shindler's List, but seems to have been overdone since. However, I can see why you did this and it is restrained and well composed. That lens is a cracker and draws this image a treat; hope you're enjoying your new one.

Selective colour (I really hate the expression colour-popping) has been massively over-used but it can have its uses, when it highlights something genuinely significant. I do like this, and I can well imagine that in all colour (or all b&w) the genuinely significant detail might be overlooked.

Not usually a fan of "colour popping", in this instance, I think it works well. I love the composition - great mono and the pumpkin ideally placed in the frame.
