Purple Fungus

Taken a few feet from the last shot, this is also only 2cm high. Exposed for the fungus rather than the leaves. I quite like the contrast of light, colour and texture. I have two versions with slightly different WB - I've loaded the second one as a mod.

Ah, looks like an amethyst deceiver Ed, and a very nice specimen at that!! Fab detail and colour.

High time I head back for the forest. A lot seems to have changed since I was a kid. Beautifully captured. really sharp and awesome colours.

superb colours on the fungi - a great contrast to the background colours.

amazed that it#s only 2cm high! looks far more imposing on here!
