Stour storm

By kit-monster
Not a very promising day at Stour Head but then the clouds started to break. 30 shot hdr / pano. I'm having problems with photomatix and can't get rid of the 'glow' between sky and land. Any suggestions welcome.

Dont know how to fix your wee problem, but I love this either way.

Knowing Ed, yes probably...and he's not finished the kitchen.

But I've noticed the same and it's always the contrast at the edges. Haven't got the solution. Yet.

p.s. Who's the guy on the bench?

Lovely pano Ed. the HDR work looks good but could probably do with a little tweaking as you can tell on the thumbnail that it is HDR.

Just come back to this one. The 'glow' is normally down to using too low a light smoothing setting, would be worth playing with that. As you have done so much work it may also be worth selecting one of the source images and blending that back in along the join.
