There's something about this I like too. I think it's what you can't see, if that makes sense?
Really appeals to me anyway - nice one.

gorgeous...wonderful light, and that touch of red in the background really adds.....it'd work in portrait format as well i reckon, although you always use the 'negative space' very well...

hope you got the trigger whatsit working again (i know nothing of these things..lol)

works well, I like the red above your head and the slightly inquisitive forward bend. Bert

Another great image Jo, I think the lighting is great, and the pose works well, just one minor niggle is the area above youe head, I find that a bit distracting. Just a personal opinion.
Congratulations on your HC, and enjoy your lights.

Something very appealing about this too Kitsch - well done! Love the soft tones and the lighting.

This sort of lighting on a female body is just brilliant in my view Jo'. And you've done it perfectly.

great to get an HC on this Jo, nice results with the light.
Something was happening during our shoot the other weekend when the timing of my shot was out with the lights and somehow I prefered the result.

thanks Smile

yep... there were a few like this to be honest as the trigger would often missfire so the settings were for flash/100 ISO/fast speed etc and when i went through them i just kept looking at the dark ones as they looked more interesting lol

happy that the flash did not fire. seems so much better without the flash. Like the natural light.
Like the composition with the neg space on the right.

Yes, I know exactly what you mean. Awful things always happen to me when I'm in a bit of net. Sucks royally.

Congrats on the HC, Jo!! Brilliant shot - I find the red bits at the back a bit distracting, though.
