The background texture works really well. I don't think it's a problem that she's not looking at the camera, since you've composed with plenty of space in the direction she's looking in. She looks a bit wistful; a laughing one would make a nice contrast.

Well if you got a stupid down arrow it wasn't suppose to be.... I clicked and then saw it... SOOOOO Sorry... I hate that new arrow !!! I GIVE IT A THUMBS UP ARROW... AGAIN SO SORRY IF IT SHOWED DOWN !!

yep, unfortunately, even though she looks great smiling/laughing, i asked her about putting any on my website & she said yes, just that nice one though! (this one)

A wonderfully appealing photograph with an air of mystery and whimsy. I love the fact that she's looking back over her shoulder and not at the camera - it certainly makes the viewer wonder why....

The off-camera look works well here, Jo. Would've been interesting to see one of the laughy shots too. Or 3 in a Bliba-style triptych!

I am late to see this one - but to me this is truly interesting - I think the over the shoulder look is particularly good, making a voyeur out of the viewer onto a captured in time moment...
