You could of asked the dog to move into a less cluttered area, but still a super image and you have captured the lovely expression this breed has.

Great detail in this shot and you have captured the dog well.

Well taken image, may i SUGGEST a little less contrast and try to lessen the back ground more, still a first class shot...............Jack.

good shot I would suggest with the b/g you have today not to bother with even trying to clone or you could spoil a great shot - I am not overly clever myself with cloning but I have a go on the small areas sometimes
thank you folks I need all the help I can get thank you for your valid comments

Interesting comments here but the shot is way over exposed and you have 'burn out' which has caused loss of detail in the whites on the dogs coat. When photographing any animal with areas of white it's worth remembering that you will get this problem if the camera is left at it's default settings. For future shots like this try dialling in 1 or 2 stops minus exposure comensation, that usually sorts things out. Having said that it's a nice composition, re the cloning, contrast and other things mentioned the main thing is to get the shot right to start with and then do whatever editing you feel necessary, hope this helps,
