Arbury Hall

By KKmoments
A picture of a local historic building.... Arbury Hall in Nuneaton was built in the 12th Century and formerly the 'home' of the famous authoress George Eliot (Mary Anne Evans) who was born on the estate in 1819 and grew up to pen such works as Mill on the Floss, Adam Bede and Middlemarch.... anyone who knows the 'history' of this famous writer will also know that the local hospital is also named George Eliot and the 'older' wards all had names after either the books/characters that she fluently wrote about...

There endeth the history lesson of Nuneaton lol.....

Thank you for viewing and thanks to your continued support and lovely comments on my previous landscape attempts I'm daring to brave sharing more.... Thank you again

This is an amazing capture Karen.
The colours, detail & the clarity are pristine.
Wonderful soft ripples on the lake, & I love the grasses to the foreground with the tiny buttercups popping into the bottom of the picture.
I like that sky as well.
