Chatsworth House V2

By KKmoments
Another one from Chatsworth House, still being brave and letting you see my 'attempts' at the great outdoors.

This is a view from Canal Pond looking towards the great house, in the foreground of yesterdays were 'mini fountains' which lie behind the Emperor Fountain in this shot. This is a gravity fed fountain and is recorded to have reached heights of 296 feet (90m) this was designed by Paxton, the gardens were the work of Capability Brown and it is estimaged the changes to the land took 25,000 man days of labour a similar number of horse days!!!! Now thats what you call hard labour!!

Anyway thank you for viewing and I won't keep going with these and I feel out of depth lol...

Maybe best viewed large to see more detail.....

I think you should be very proud of this one, Karen, it's extremely well taken. The reflections and sky are amazing, and the right bank leads the eye to the house beautifully.
