Derwentwater morning

Taken Oct 2012. I took this to show the recession of the hills towards Borrowdale and waited for the sun to clear the hills and light up the left hand trees. The boats and the light mist on the water were a lucky accident. I visit this area often, one of the benefits of living in Cumbria.

Fantastic image. This proves to me why I make the 1 hour journey there on a regular basis. Even the small accent to the summit of Castle Crag is fantastic in it's self. Well done. Mick
