Boscastle Thrift at Sunset

By knackeredoldman
This is the view from the Boscastle Headland at sunset.

It's a lovely spot to sit down and enjoy the sunset. It's even conducive to partners or so my wife tells me because from this session she didn't have to worry about getting cut off by the incoming tide, soaked by rushing waves or stranded in the dark on a deserted beach.

...and if you are staying at St Christopher's B&B in Boscastle you can even make back to the Nap (the 16th C pub opposite) for a swift half before closing :o)

Thanks for looking. Oh and please do view large.

Thanks very much for the very warm comments guys. This one has been sitting round teasing me to process it for a couple of months. It was a pretty amazing sunset but a challenge to process it accurately so I am glad that it works for you. My most honest critic also likes it too so it works for me so far...

In case anyone is wondering the light patch on the stone to the right is not any lens aberration but just the way the light fell through the plants and stone.

Thanks again.
