Imperfect Moments

By knackeredoldman
This is one from a day out at Golitha falls in Cornwall. Golitha falls are located along a long windy river where the tree roots cover the ground. As you wander through the woods the sparkles of quartz found naturally in the area catch light and add to the natural mystique.

Legend has it that this is fairy dust left by the fairies of the woods.... it is also useful when your kids keep falling over the tree roots and need some fairy magic to instantly heal them :o)

As for the shot, Personally I liked the rhythm of these stones and the water and the fact that the leaf was less than perfectly placed and formed.

Thanks for looking.

I know the area quite well and have taken many images by the river but have never come back home with an image as good as this one
