Northumbrian Pastel

By knackeredoldman
Like many seascape addicted TOGs I usually try to capture drama in the light and moment when I shoot and not infrequently use under exposure to achieve this. However, often I will be searching for a more subtle, gentle touch. Sometimes without result. :o)

In the processing of this shot I deliberately overexposed to give a more gentle, subtle feeling to the shot.

Thanks for looking and of course, any thoughts are always welcome.

Think you've achieved what you set out for . Lovely tones/colours . Excellently composed . A little lens distortion is noticable to me because I know Bamburgh so well which will correct in Photoshop ....Phil

Cheers guys.

Phil - you are absolutely right but given the degree I didn't bother to fudge about with it on this occasion.

Thanks for the feedback.
