Hi,

Another good capture from Kruger Park, well done.

In my opinion this image deserves to be a touch more "In Ya Face" A simple way of doing this is to make a B&W copy and them overlay it onto the colour, it gives it a more contrast feel and also mutes the colours a bit. Also a crop more and the square side may work. In the mod I have done both of these things and then selectively adjusted the exposure.

Good pf.

Take care

I have done a mod for you.
Cracking image to start with.............. I have alterered the exposure a little and the saturation. Made it a bit lighter and added a slight barrel lens distortion to make the elephant loom a little into the lens. The exposure alterations have lost the colour in the sky, but I personally dont think it matters too much as it gives more emphasis on the elephant.

Cant even begin to imagine actually getting a shot off with this bearing down on you. Well done under the circumstances. Loaded a mod with the Elephant a little brighter, sharpened, and increased colour sat. Would have been great to see the feet, - but I would wait for him to pose either.

Amazing picture. As you say it is a bit close but the thrill of getting that close to elephants is amazing.
