Thats a nice little telephone box.

A good shot with that bright light overhead too.

It can really only be improved a little in post processing, as the shot setting are fine. Some increase in contrast, recover some highlights, sharpen, and get the centre line in the box vertical and its done.

Mod loaded. I was wondering if this could be a Doctor Who style box, might try that too!

Thank you! It's nice that our cultural icons are appreciated worldwide!

My wife, as the gardener in the family, would definitely be in favour of repotting at this stage. It's looking as if the flowers are a fraction cramped.

And, as Willie suggests, a Doctor Who style police telephone box may be needed (that'd solve the repotting thing as well).

I've tried shooting pictures at flower shows - it's hard work, as they're cramped and you often get little choice about backgrounds. On a really good day, you may find the odd plain cloth behind a stand...

So you've made a sound choice with your aperture, to blur what's behind.

Have a great Easter!

Thank you Willie and John
Willie thanks for your mod. We don't have Dr. Who on the tv here but a couple of years a saw a episode on English tv, was a nice show (and i do like SF like The Thunderbirds, old Star Trek).

Say Hi to the Easterbunny and have a good great Easter

I definitely want one of these.........or maybe two.

It's a pity that the glass in the phone box was so dirty, especially on the door.

You have focused on the frame of the box, and that's fine, but the flower itself is a little soft, and this is also caused by the glass being in front of it.
Willie's modification shows how this can be remedied by adjusting the contrast.

The flower could have been better defined if you had shot this from the left side, looking into the open door, not necessarily straight on, but at a bit of an angle, even if you only got part of the flower showing without glass in front of it. I feel that the flower is just as important as the box.

Well seen, the red is very eye-catching, and it's quite an amusing planter.
