Taken in Gaia Zoo in Kerkrade (province of Limburg, Netherlands)
A very nice Zoo in the hilly country side. The rest of Holland is flat like a penny.
Most of the animals have space and not have to live in "cages"
Spent a lot of time looking at the meerkats who did nothing more than playing and playing.
This picture was taken through a not so clean window
As always comments/advise/tips welcome

V2 is original

A nice shot and cute expression of the animal Smile

I find your image, again, very dull and soft. Loaded a mod for that.

Rest all is good, background free of any distractions, sufficient breathing space Smile

Well you can't tell it's taken through a window.
Lovely sharp eyes and you've lightened them very well from the original.
This does have more contrast than some of you other uploads, and looks fine on my laptop at least. Ishan's mod is quite aggressive which has introduced a blue colouration arond the eyes, which can be removed with selective colour balance.

I'll just try a square crop for you with less of the animal's back., for a different take on this.

Good morning/afternoon to you two, Ishan & John.
Thanks both for your comment/mod.
I do ( a bit) agree with Ishan could have done some (little) more, but I tried it different times and finally agreed with this, but 100% is it not.
Thanks again

He needs his eyebrows trimmed!

Ishan, is your monitor calibrated? If not, its worth doing so. Calibrize is an on-line software that can do a reasonable job if you dont have the external colorimeter.

Used V2 to do a mod, its underexposed, and the mod is a widescreen meercat, very rare!

Yup, i took the test which is given at the bottom most screen and i found out that i cannot see those first 5 6 ( dunno how many ) blocks. Are they really divided?

I'm sorry for posting wrong mod Sad

Very sharp and well done in that respect, but the composition needs attention. The head is dead central and you need it to the right looking into space with less room behind the head.

Hello Willie & Ishan and Paul
Thanks Willie for your mod. I like the more space left but I think the Meerkat needs a bit more sunshine, looks a bit pale to me. Gone try to give a bit of sunshine ( a bit yellow)
Thanks Paul for your comment. I do agree wiith you.
Thanks all

Well, for what it's worth, Bianca and Jos, I like your V1 very much and am amazed at what you have done, after looking at the original.
Your background is particularly good, just plain with no distractions whatsoever.

I know I am picky (you should see how long it takes me to process a pictureTongue), but I think I would have removed the little bits of food around the meerkat's mouth.

Pamela.
