Welcome to my ePhotozine portfolio. Most of the photos on this website have been taken using compact or bridge cameras. My old Fuji S1Pro having been purchased at the turn of the millennium and now well out of date with no value. • Scotch Cart by KymeWeb

A good point but the original image looked natural but very pale due to exposing for light shadows. The cart was mainly a dirty white, picking up tones from a blue sky and the red brick walls of the cart shed. My personal view was to allow the slightly surreal blues and reds to balance the overall tone even though you'd never have seen those colours with the naked eye.

Thank you for your comments and mods. As you say, my experience in photography over the years tells me to say 'yes know'. It's been a long time since I've put pics up for critique and I'm pleased that opinion is the same as it used to be. I have to talk to some friends tomorrow evening on photo composition. I'll use this example for starters.

  • On Guard with The Woodvilles by KymeWeb

The Woodvilles are a 'Wars of the Roses' re-enactment group. Along with the'Knights of Skirbeck', they put on a superb display of fighting skills at The South Kyme Medieval Festival on 25th August 2013 in the shadow of the 14th Century South Kyme Tower.
