A quick view of lampgb's recent activity.

  • Shed by lampgb

Apologies to all and a total mix-up. I took two images of this shed. One with my D300 and yes, one with my iPhone. This is the iPhone image. When you've reached 70 things start to fall apart. Looks like it has started for me.

  • The Lake District by lampgb

When I saw the scene I imagined it as a parallelogram created by the tree on the left-hand side in the picture leaning to the right and those trees on the right leaning further to the right. I noticed a similar effect with the wall travelling down and to the right in the same way but leading the eye to the centre of the photograph and thus giving an idea of scale and distance. I think that removing the tree on the left would create an imbalance.

I must be missing the point here. More a fauxtograph than a photograph.

  • Gull by lampgb

It was one of those of the moment unexpected shots. I tried to sharpen the Gull a little more without giving the photograph a manufactured look.

Great photograph. Removing the crane may or may not be a good idea. I find it a little distracting.
